About Express Delivery

Not only are we green and delicious, we aim to be the fastest brussels sprout in the East. Right now we are trialing express Delivery for Sydney, and will soon be rolling it out further.

Express Delivery is available for set boxes and other items showing the speedy sprout 🥦 icon. If you only have those items in your cart you are eligible for express delivery, otherwise your first available date will be Regular Delivery.

Chicken Broth - Pho here I come...

Broth love is growing and chicken is often a great one to start with if you're new to broth. Thanks to @reecehignell for his broth secrets!

Pho Style Chicken Broth

1 whole chicken

1 bunch of spring onions (roots and green removed(

1 chilli

1 clove of garlic (slices in half horizontally)

1 thumb size of ginger (in thin slices)

1 stick of cinnamon

2 cloves

3 star anise

1 litre of water

asian greens

noodles

coriander

Place all ingredients into a large saucepan and bring to the boil. Once boiled reduce to a simmer and allow broth to simmer for 1 whole hour. After one hour remove chicken and carefully shred the meat from the bones. Strain stock to remove ingredients then return to the heat and bring to the boil.
Once boiling add the asian greens and rice noodles then boil until greens and noodles are cooked through.
Serve with hoisin sauce and fresh coriander.

Such a simple meal with so much flavour!!
