    Entertaining's back! What better way to welcome your guests than with an elegant cheese board, showcasing the best of local, sustainable cheeses - yum!

    The Easy Entertainer
    Placing a plentiful assortment of cheesy goodness in the middle of the table allows guest to pick and choose what they like, or try a little of something new. Best of all, this style of serving saves on the washing up.

    As with everything that looks effortless, there is a little bit of method required to create a cheese board that screams ''Entertainer of the Year''. Here are a few tips to get you started.

    Taste Trip
    Aim to cover a few different taste sensations with your cheese selection, from sweet and salty to something a little pungent (blue cheese, I'm looking at you...)

    Texture Mixture
    Similarly, take your guests on a textural adventure! Go for soft, gooey cheeses as well as crumbly varieties (like fetta) and traditional hard cheeses too.

    Cracking Crackers
    With cheeses this good you could be forgiven for viewing crackers as a mere vehicle to get the cheesey goodness into your mouth... But really, quality cheese deserves a quality cracker, and we've got plenty for you to choose from. Broken-up flatbreadnods to a rustic vibe, and our toasties (in chive or seaweed flavour) deliver a hit of extra flavour and crunch

     Building the perfect platter:

    • get your cheeses out of the fridge an hour before 'boarding'
    • place your selection of gorgeous cheeses on a large serving board
    • cut a few slices each cheese to invite selection
    • add a knife for each cheese and pile crackers alongside
    • add little bowls of olives and folds of deli meats, if desired
    • fill any gaps with nuts and /or seasonal fruits (apples and pears go particularly well with cheese)
    • sprinkle a few fresh herb sprigs to tie it all together
    • have some napkins handy

    Double-duty: Dessert
    A sumptuous cheese board is a beautiful way to finish a meal as well, and invites conversation to linger a little longer. Create an 'after dinner' vibe with the addition of fresh berries and a scattering of luxury chocolate for a winning dessert to remember.
