About Express Delivery

Not only are we green and delicious, we aim to be the fastest brussels sprout in the East.  Right now we are trialing express Delivery for Sydney, and will soon be rolling it out further.

Express Delivery is available for set boxes and other items showing the speedy sprout 🥦 icon.  If you only have those items in your cart you are eligible for express delivery, otherwise your first available date will be Regular Delivery.

 

The stone-fruit season is short and incredibly delicious - so we've gotta make the most of it! This recipe from Cheree at CK Health is a great way to enjoy the sweetness of these summer beauties.  

Nectarine Cake at YOur Food Collective


UPSIDE DOWN NECTARINE CAKE (GF)

INGREDIENTS

1 cup quinoa flour
1/2 cup brown rice flour
2 tsp baking powder
125g butter
1 cup +1 tbsp coconut sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup yoghurt
4 nectarines, seeded and sliced thin. 


METHOD


Mix flours and baking powder together. 
Beat 1 cup coconut sugar and butter with electric beaters for 3-5minutes until creamy. Add vanilla and 1 egg and combine well. 
Add in half the flour mix, combine. Add the other egg, mix in, and then the rest of the flour. 
Line a cake tin with baking paper, sprinkle the bottom with the remaining sugar and cinnamon and lay out slices of nectarine to cover the base. Spoon the cake batter on top. Bake at 180c for 35-40minutes until cooked through. Cool in tin for 5 minutes before carefully transferring to a serving tray.
