At Your Food Collective we’re doing things differently. We’re thinking. We’re doing. We’re conscious.
We’re re-creating a broken food system, propped up by smoke and mirrors. We’re connecting our customers directly to local producers so they can get their hands on the freshest food possible grown on farms within their own communities.
At Your Food Collective you’ll join a team of compassionate leaders who believe there are only two times in life: now and too late. We’re getting our hands dirty and putting in the hard yards because we know everything we do makes a difference.
Our Story
Your Food Collective was founded in January 2016 by cousins Cara Cooper and Lauren Branson as an alternative to the poor quality produce that is constantly dished up without remorse across the country. Everyone deserves better, consumers deserve fresh food, producers deserve to be paid better for the work they do and our planet needs a future.
We now have over 500 seasonal products in our marketplace and connect customers directly to over 50 local producers and we’re growing!
Our Vision is simple...
We want everyone to live on fresh, deliciously tasty food that has been grown locally by people they know.
We want producers to be paid fairly for the work they do, so they can continue growing amazing food.
We want people to live in strong communities where you know your neighbours and have the support you need to dream big dreams….
Your Role
We’re looking for self-motivated community legends to help spread the word within their local communities.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, fast growing start-up in the food tech industry. The sky’s the limit!
You are well connected within your community, have a passion for local food, a drive to build a strong customer base and tailor a local offering to the community you love.
Your Purpose
- Be passionate about what you do – brining local food to local people everywhere
- Build a strong customer base for your local hub, drawing on community networks and your passion for fresh, local food.
- Tailor the experience of your local hub to your community needs and wants, always focused on customer experience and retention.
- Be part of a fast moving team.
- Be comfortable working to dynamic timelines

Your Skills
- Amazing Networker
- Experience in the food industry or a passion for food
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of the food landscape
- Strong collaborator & team player
- Strong conceptual skills and attention to detail
- Able to perform under pressure, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and deliver consistent outcomes
- Proven organisational skills
- An optimistic problem solver.
- High personal drive and energy.
- Courage to take calculated risks, stand up for what you believe in and push the envelope.
- The ability to work well and communicate with people of all levels, including Executive Management.
- Constant learner – evidence of ongoing self-education
You have a genuine interest in food, and the ability to understand what consumers want. You live and breathe food and community growth and have a passion to share absurdly fresh, local product with your thriving community.
This is a green field role, whereby you will be working within a high performing team to achieve agreed hub success metrics. Be prepared to be challenged and adapt to ever changing requirements of this fasted passed and exciting business.
Please note that this is a casual position with the opportunity to move into a more permanent role as the business grows.
