We are really excited to be telling you what we do and how we do it. Life’s too short for compromises, especially when it comes to the food we eat.
YFC In a Nutshell
Your Food Collective is an online market place that allows you to purchase directly from producers and then collect your food from a your local hub or we deliver.
But we’re much more than that…
We’re using technology to give people the time they need to reconnect with the food they eat and the people who grow it. We’re helping producers get paid fairly for the work they do and we’re providing customers with the freshest food possible.
It’s simple really, we’re making local easy.
And we’re currently expanding our team…
We’re looking for a self-motivated team leader to join our family and take on an 18 month maternity leave position. It’s a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and fast growing start-up in the food tech industry. The sky’s the limit!
The role is a great combination of administrative work and hands on warehouse duties.
Role
The nominated candidate will be responsible for the management of all activities, staff and suppliers at our warehouse as well as hub days, ensuring that customers’ requirements are fulfilled and operations run efficiently.
You would be the first point of contact for customers on hub day and throughout the week. At Your Food Collective we are wholly focused on customer experience from arriving at our website to receiving their produce and everything in between. As a team leader in our service team you will play a key role in developing and maintaining customer relationships.
Administrative duties include (but are not limited to) ensuring all producers receive inventory orders for the week’s hub and make updates for the next order cycle. Liaise with YFC delivery partner to ensure home deliveries are scheduled and complete document preparation for Hub.
Warehouse management duties include but are not limited to stocking and cleaning the warehouse, management and servicing of equipment including cool rooms and staffing.

- Competent on the computer and in particular Microsoft Excel and Word
- Drivers licence
- Reliable Car
- Management/ Leadership capabilities
- Excellent leadership skills
