As cousins the connection has always been strong, so teaming up to create Your Food Collective was a no brainer.  (what could go wrong working with family…)

 

Lauren “LozDog” Branson

Passionate about all things life and forever chasing a challenge, after having five amazing children and dishing up more meals that you care to imagine, Lauren’s passion turned towards the edible side of life.

Continually frustrated by the lack of fresh, local food and the apparent absence of farmers in our food chain, like all good mothers Lauren decided it was time to find a solution. So, with her passion for life and the hunger of her five children driving her Lauren teamed up with Cara to ‘make local easy’.

 

 Cara ‘Coops’ Cooper

Always following her instincts, whether it be towards the next BLT or a life changing career move, Cara’s got amazing intuition. So when Lauren started talking about the embryotic stages of YFC she knew something good was brewing. She had to trust her gut and this time it wasn’t hunger leading the way…(Well, maybe a little, seeing as it’s all about amazingly fresh, tasty food!)

Cara’s love for the pure, simple side of life, continually drives her to celebrate the amazing, taste, look, feel and smell of fresh produce. It’s something everyone should have access to all the time. Fresh food is the fundamental building block to a happy life.  

So with a sound gut feeling and the dawning realization that we only get one shot at life and need to leave a little magic behind in everything we do the Your Food Collective partnership was born.
