About Express Delivery

Not only are we green and delicious, we aim to be the fastest brussels sprout in the East.  Right now we are trialing express Delivery for Sydney, and will soon be rolling it out further.

Express Delivery is available for set boxes and other items showing the speedy sprout 🥦 icon.  If you only have those items in your cart you are eligible for express delivery, otherwise your first available date will be Regular Delivery.

Schnitty Night Kit - Chicken Schnitzel, Potato Salad & Zesty Green Beans (Serves 3)

What's included?

  • 3 x Chicken Schnitzel 
  • 300g Green Beans* 
  • 1kg Sebago Potatoes 
  • 1 x Lemon* 
  • 1 Bunch Shallots*  

What you will need from your pantry:

  • Salt
  • Olive Oil

*Subject to change seasonally. 

Serves 3 ($9.83 per serve)

Method

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1 inch pieces. Add the potatoes to a medium pan, cover with water, add a pinch of salt and place on a medium heat. Bring to the boil and turn down to a simmer. Cook the potatoes for 8-10 mins or until tender. 
  2. Top and tail the green beans. Place a medium pan on medium heat, add some olive oil and the beans. As the beans are starting to cook add two tablespoons of water. Turning regularly to cook beans until tender.  
  3. Using the same pan you cooked the beans in, heat on medium high heat with 3-4tbsp of olive oil, cook the Schnitzels in batches for 4-5 minutes each side or until golden and cooked though. Transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel.
  4. Drain the potatoes and add to a bowl. Add the sliced shallots, the juice of half a lemon, olive oil & salt to taste. Mixed till combined.
  5. Serve the potato salad, beans and chicken schnitzel, Enjoy!

Leftovers - depending on how hungry you are you'll have some potato salad left over. It will keep in the fridge for up to 4 days. The perfect lunch!
